Fear

The adrenaline raced through my body like a bulldozer i couldn't see the wolf but i knew it was there the hair on my neck slowly rose. I turned in time to see the huge body of a great wolf jump for my neck as i dodged out of the way i smelt its rancid breath and saw it hunger wild eyes i rolled to the next tree and scrambled up it only to fall to the ground i knew i couldn't escape so i grabbed the nearest rock and stood heart pounding waiting for my impending doom. The wolf spun around with his crooked yellow teeth bared he lunged for me again this time i jumped out of the way then in the same motion flung the rock to were i was just standing. I heard a yelp of surprise come from the wolf before he could get up i had chucked two more rocks at it but it didn't stop. He charged me this time as i swerved to dodge my foot caught on a root sticking out of the ground it was then i felt the weight of the wolf on top of me. When i opened my eyes i saw it drooling jaws and its glinting teeth my body shook i was so afraid. It was then that i thought i will not let myself die without i fight i punched the wolf square in the nose he whined then i kicked at him with my legs i managed to get his body off me as i did i saw a rock not far away i darted for it and grabbed it the enraged wolf blindly charged at me as he jumped for me i swung the rock as it hit him in the head i dropped the rock and ran for my life back to the safety of my home. I never knew what had happened to that wolf if it died or lived but i think he had slim chances of living.
